With more than 1,500 locations worldwide, Cartridge World allows customers to drop off their cartridge and have it refilled while they wait. Small to medium-sized businesses can also help protect the environment and save money by participating in the Business Direct program, which allows businesses to set up accounts with Cartridge World Madison. We then pick up the empty laser cartridges; we refill the cartridges and deliver them back to the business in the Cartridge Cruiser (see below) all at no additional cost for qualified businesses
We specialize in the refilling and remanufacturing of ink and toner cartridges for nearly every printer you will find in your home or office. We try to keep an abundant stock of both inkjet and toner cartridges ready to be "swapped out" for your empty so you don't have to wait for yours to be refilled.
Inkjet Cartridge Refilling Process
We usually flush the cartridge completely clean of whatever residual ink may be left in the cartridge with special cleaning solutions. Once the sponge is completely clean we then place the cartridge in a specially designed centrifuge to dry the sponge inside the cartridge. The next step in the process is to fill the cartridge with our specially formulated inks in our pressurized vacuum filling station with precision dispensers. The cartridge is then weighed to assure it has been filled to, if not exceeding, original manufacturer's standards. The final step is to place the cartridge in our testing machine which tests the cartridge electronically as well as the print quality of the cartridge. If the cartridge passes both tests then it is ready to be sealed, labled, and put in your printer.
Toner Cartridge Refilling Process
When we remanufacture a laser/toner cartridge we first completely dissamble the cartridge. We then clean the inside of the empty shell along with any other parts we are going to reuse. The parts that are worn or are likely to wear out within the next cycle of use are replaced. Next, we reassemble the cartridge and then test it in our printers. Finally, it is sealed in a lightproof bag and put in a box ready to taken back to your home or office.
